Nordwillem Canal (Noord-Willemskanaal)

Hi Guyes

Being sick and tired of the ice covering the lakes in Denmark, I have been looking towards your country, and heard about the Nordwillem Canal by Groningen.
Does any of you have any information about this canal that you want to share ? i've tried the almighty internet, but could not find a lot about the carpfishing.

also there is a lot of ice still in the water,so I heart last week from a friend how lives there in that area
it is not a carpfisher but i always ask him of he see's some carpchelters and tents
two day's ago the ships start to sail in that part of the land so there are lots of pieces ice in the canal

the weater is better now it's raining hot water so i think a week and its clear to fish

about the fish there it's the same thing like al of our canals in holland a lot of fish between 10 to 20 pond some 30 and 40ers around but its hard work to cath a carp

Thank you Dimitri,do you know wheter the fishing is hard or easy on the Nordwillem canal ?

it's always hard to fish on carp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michel, nowadays it's even hard to catch a carp in the Twente Canal.
The good time's as 10 years ago are gone...

In the Twente Canal part where i'm fishing it's still icy...

That sounds like a clever idea, the winter carping in Holland, especcially in the east where the frost always lasts longer, can be very tough.

My last fish is from the 15th of November. For this weekend the weather predictions are quite good, so I'm hoping for the first carp of 2011.
